Guided Snowshoe Walking Holidays In theĀ French Alps

Nestling beneath Europe’s highest mountain, the Chamonix Valley and surrounding area is an exceptionally scenic and spectacular outdoor environment that lures hikers and climbers from around the globe.

Yet most hillwalkers consider the mountains to be ‘off-limits’ to them in winter, assuming them to be the preserve of the ’ski set’. This is a pity, as when wearing their winter cloak of snow and ice, the mountains are arguably at their most stunning and picturesque, and what’s more most areas are far less frequented by human visitors.

Snow-shoes are our passport into this untracked winter wonderland. Under the guidance of a British International Mountain Leader, our snowshoe holidays will take you through landscapes and to vantage points you wouldn’t have thought possible.

All our holidays are based in Chamonix, in the French Alps, 1hr drive from Geneva airport.

Choose between a 3-day weekend short break, a full week holiday, or an adventurous hut-to-hut wilderness mountain journey.
